This policy explains what Lilith’s Playhouse may collect, why it is used, who may process it and the choices available to you.

Who we are

Lilith’s Playhouse is an adults-only platform for community, events, education, adult stories and pleasure-product discovery. Questions about this policy or your information can be sent through Contact Lilith’s Playhouse.

Information we may handle

Account details such as email address, account identifier and authentication status.
Basic profile information you choose to add, including display name, pronouns, general location and biography.
Private preferences, intentions, interests and boundaries you explicitly choose to store in your account.
Optional interests-and-preferences quiz scores you explicitly choose to save to your account.
Forum posts, replies, reports, links, tags and other material you deliberately publish or submit.
Guest-chat display names, guest-chat messages and reports submitted through the Guest Lounge. Guest chat uses a pseudonymous session token rather than a member account.
Messages you choose to prepare and send through Contact or Ideas & Feedback.
If you subscribe to Lilith, your email address, selected update topics, consent record, subscription status and unsubscribe record.
If you propose a partnership, the contact, organisation, website, opportunity type and proposal information you choose to submit.
Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, security logs and page requests.
A temporary age-gate acknowledgement held for the current browser session.
Cookie and similar-technology preference records, including a pseudonymous consent identifier, granular choices, timestamp, policy or notice version, source IP, browser user-agent and authenticated account ID when applicable.
Membership, event or verification records when you use those services.

Lilith’s Playhouse does not use browser local storage or IndexedDB to retain member profile drafts, intimate preferences, boundaries, saved quiz results or authentication tokens. Signed-in session restoration uses a protected first-party HttpOnly refresh cookie for up to 30 days. Password recovery may use a separate short-lived HttpOnly token-hash cookie. The cookie-preference system stores only a random pseudonymous consent reference in a first-party Secure, SameSite cookie; the detailed preference and audit record remains in the access-restricted backend. Intimate and sensitive information

Some private profile choices, messages or community contributions may reveal information about sex life, sexual orientation, health, relationships or personal identity. You are not required to provide intimate information to browse the public website, subscribe to general updates or submit a business partnership proposal.

Private preference information is separated from the public member profile and protected by authenticated, owner-only database access. Private interests, boundaries and saved preference scores are not published as part of your ordinary profile.

Raw answers from the optional interests-and-preferences quiz are not stored. A signed-in member may choose to store only the resulting scores, summary and completion date, and may later delete them with the rest of the private preference profile.

Why we use information

Information may be used to:

provide accounts, private profiles, community discussions, guest chat and requested services;
display a limited member profile only when the member enables it;
receive and review community safety reports;
send Playhouse updates, event highlights, editorial releases and partner offers to people who have chosen to subscribe;
respect unsubscribe choices and maintain the minimum record needed to avoid sending unwanted marketing;
record and honour cookie or similar-technology preferences and demonstrate the choice made at the time;
review and respond to partnership proposals, event tips and investor enquiries;
protect the website, investigate abuse and enforce community standards;
improve design, accessibility, content and performance;
meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal rights;
deliver paid membership, private-event or verification services.

Depending on the activity, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with law or consent. Promotional email relies on the choice made at sign-up and can be stopped through the unsubscribe route provided with those messages. Where special-category information is involved, an additional legal condition is required. Private preference records store the member’s explicit storage choice and policy version at the time of saving. Optional cookies and similar storage technologies that require consent remain off until a valid choice is made.

Retention, international processing and security

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling and proportionate security records. Retention periods differ by account, transaction, message, report, moderation record, subscriber record and partnership proposal.

The Guest Lounge displays only a limited set of recent messages. Guest-chat messages, reports and moderation records may be retained beyond the visible feed where needed to operate the service, investigate abuse, handle disputes or meet legal obligations.

Cookie-consent evidence is normally marked for deletion after 12 months. The pseudonymous preference identifier cookie expires after 180 days. Authentication and password-recovery cookies have shorter service-specific durations described in the Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy.

An active newsletter subscriber remains on the mailing list until they unsubscribe or the subscription is otherwise closed. When someone unsubscribes, the address may remain on a suppression record so the Playhouse can honour that choice.

Partnership information may be retained while the opportunity is being assessed or discussed and for a proportionate period afterwards where needed for business records, dispute handling or legal obligations.

Members can delete private preference information and saved quiz results from the profile workspace. Hiding the public profile does not prevent private account features from remaining available.

Providers may process information in more than one country. Where international data-transfer rules apply, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used.

The Playhouse uses authenticated access, database row-level security, encrypted connections, security headers, dependency monitoring and application testing. No online service can promise absolute security, so members should avoid publishing information they would not want the selected audience to see.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law and circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Optional cookie consent can be changed or withdrawn using the persistent Cookie settings control. Newsletter subscribers can use the unsubscribe link supplied with marketing emails. Contact Lilith’s Playhouse with enough information to understand any wider privacy request, but do not send identity documents until a secure verification route is provided. We may need to confirm identity before acting on a request concerning account information.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as memberships, payments, verification, messaging and events develop. Material changes will be dated on this page.
